Discos

The Friends' Association is organising discos on Friday 7th March (Juniors) and Wednesday 12th March (Infants).  Both of these will take place after school until 4.30pm.

More details will be coming from the Friends' Association shortly.

Multi-Sports Tournament

This morning we held our first Inter-house Multi Sports Tournament.  The children in the Junior classes played benchball, netball and football in house teams, with years 5 and 6 playing together and years 3 and 4 playing together.  Despite the bitterly cold weather, the children had a great time and enjoyed the friendly competition.

The results were:

1st Ash 70 points

2nd Oak 58 points

3rd Beech 56 points

4th Elm 32 points

Book Fair

There will be a Book Fair in the hall after school next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, arranged by Mrs Cooper.  Please come along and take a look - there will be a wide range of titles for all ages.

Violin music

If you have any violin books which your child has finished with and does not want to keep, Mrs Haslam, our violin teacher, wouldd glady have them and recycle them for other pupils. Please send them in to the office.

Football

Our football team drew 1-1 against Longlevens Junior School yesterday.  Well done to all our players, who have done well throughout the season.

Netball

Our Netball team lost 3-5 to Widden in an exciting and enjoyable game yesterday.  Well done to all the players.
