Easter Services

Our Easter Services will take place on Wednesday 19th March (Infants) and Thursday 20th March (Juniors) at the Parish Church.  The children should please be dropped off at the Church at 8.50am rather than brought to school.  We should be very grateful of offers of help to walk the children back to school. Parents are welcome to attend the services.

Visits to the Church

The visits to the Church to participate in 'Experience Easter' are well underway and proving thought provoking.  Our thanks go to the team of people organising this.

Chess

Well done to the members of the chess team who continue in top form, and beat Innsworth 5 1/2-1/2 yesterday.

Football

The football team beat Widden 4-0 in an exciting and enjoyable game yesterday. The team now goes through to the semi finals of the Schools' Plate Competition.  Well done to all the players.

Netball

The netball team also played Widden, losing 2-5 in another exciting and enjoyable game.  Well done to all the players.

Yr 6 Residential Visit

Children in Yr6 are off to Boreaton Park in Shropshire next week, for their residential visit. They will have an exciting programme of outdoor and adventurous activities including abseiling, archery, orienteering and raft building.

Book Fair

Thank you to everyone who supported the Book Fair and to the staff and helpers who ran it.

Secondary School places

If your child has not been given the secondary school you hoped for, and you are considering appealing against the decision, you may want some advice about the process.  The County Council runs an impartial and confidential service to help with secondary school admissions.  Mo Mulley is the Choice Adviser, and can support you through the appeals procedure.  You can contact her by telephone or meet her face to face. If she is unavailable when you call, please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.  You can also contact Mo by email.
