Gardening Club

Mrs Turner will be running her Gardening Club after the holiday on Wednesdays after school.

Please ask for a permission slip at the Office if your child is interested in joining.  This Club is for Yr 2 children.

Football

The final of the Plate Competition, which took place on Saturday morning, was a hard fought match, and Elmbridge won 3-0. Many congratulations to the team for earning their place in the final and also for such a successful season. Thank you to Mr Tidmarsh and Mr Tallett for all their efforts over the year in coaching the players.

Year 3 Play

Well done to the Yr 3 classes for their lovely performance of the play 'Tattybogle' this week.  The acting, singing and dancing were all brilliant.  Thank you to the teaching and support staff involved in putting together this production.

Visits

The Yr5 children have enjoyed visits to the Hayden Science and Technology Centre in connection with their work on rivers.

Staffing

Today we said goodbye to Mrs Camber, who has been with us for just over a year supporting the infants.  We are very grateful for the work Mrs Camber has done with us and for her flexibility, we wish her all the best in her new post at Brockworth.

Sports Assembly

On Wednesday we held a special 'Sports Assembly' which was led by 3 Sports Ambassadors from the High School for Girls, three Yr11 pupils were aiming to encourage the children to take up new and different sports, and to give them information about clubs they could join outside school.

We have a list of Sports Clubs, including gymnastics, martial arts, dance, roller skating and cheer-leading, and if your child is interested in any of these, please collect a leaflet from the Office.

Tennis

We have two children who have been receiving tennis coaching at Oxstalls Tennis Centre and who have been presented with special track suits as an indication of particularly good progress. Well done!

School Meals

The cost for school meals for the whole of the summer term is £100.30 for infants and £106.20 for juniors.  Please remember that we expect payment for meals in advance.

Mobile phones

Children are not allowed to have mobile phones in school.  Any phone found in school will be locked in the school safe until the end of the day.

Have a lovely two week break - we are all looking forward to it!
