AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
In addtion to their normal duties the staff also run various clubs and activities after school hours. These are generally from 3.15 to 4.15 pm. Such activities serve two main purposes:

Firstly, for the teacher, to have an opportunity to know the pupils in an individualistic way and in a more informal setting, not always possible during a busy school day.

Secondly, and more importantly, it allows pupils to develop their talents even further as well as enjoying learning and playing new games, etc. with other keen participants.

These activities are not compulsory but are organised because of the benefits to those taking part. Age, numbers or proficiency may be limiting factprs to participation.

Recent clubs and activities have included football, netball, cross country, tennis, athletics, gardening, chess, Latin, science, recorders, choir and orchestra.

Further details about each club can be found by visiting our PROSPECTUS page.
